Lambert High School Renovation / Addition

Reeves Young provided comprehensive construction services for a renovation and addition project on an active campus, demonstrating expertise in managing complex projects with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The 6,800-square-foot addition included the construction of a state-of-the-art sports medicine lab, a cutting-edge biotechnology lab, and a fully equipped kitchen with a freezer and cooler. Renovations to existing classrooms transformed them into innovative learning spaces, including a new iGem Lab, a Culinary Dining Room, and two laboratory classrooms designed to enhance hands-on education. Throughout the project, meticulous coordination was critical as classes continued in adjacent spaces while construction was underway, ensuring the safety and productivity of students and staff.

Jackson County Administration Building

Reeves Young successfully constructed a state-of-the-art 39,000 SF administration building, which serves as the centralized hub for various county departments, fostering seamless collaboration and efficient operations. The facility houses key entities, including the Board of Commissioners, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Public Development, Tax Assessor, and Tax Commissioner, streamlining administrative functions and enhancing public service delivery. The architectural design incorporated well-appointed offices, welcoming public waiting rooms, fully-equipped conference rooms, a cutting-edge data center, a versatile multipurpose room, and a practical loading dock. This modern administration building was meticulously crafted to meet the contemporary needs of county governance, providing an optimized environment for both employees and the public.

Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail Segments 4 & 5

This 1.2-mile section of the Atlanta BeltLine trail connected the Glenwood Park, Grant Park, Ormewood Park, and Boulevard Heights communities, extending from Glenwood Avenue to Boulevard. Designed to provide accessible routes for residents, visitors, students, and families, this segment linked neighborhoods to key job centers both north and south of I-20. Reeves Young’s scope of work included clearing, demolition, erosion control, stormwater management, grading, concrete trail construction, bridge development, retaining wall installation, and electrical and lighting systems. Reeves Young was responsible for managing and completing all aspects of the project to ensure its successful delivery.

Atlanta Beltline Northeast Trail Segment 1 & 2

The Northeast Trail, a key segment of the Atlanta BeltLine, extended 2.9 miles from Peachtree Creek, just north of I-85, to Monroe Drive at Piedmont Park, connecting landmarks such as Ansley Golf Club, Ansley Mall, and the eastern edge of Piedmont Park. Reeves Young was responsible for Northeast Trail Segment 1 and Segment 2, which included the completed Segment 1 running 0.9 miles from Monroe Drive to Westminster Drive and featuring the Carriage Trail in Piedmont Park, and Segment 2 Phase II, a 1.2-mile paved section between Westminster Drive and Mayson Street with access points at Piedmont Park North Woods, Piedmont Avenue, and Montgomery Ferry Road. The scope of work for these segments included erosion control, grading, landscaping, storm drainage, electrical work, duct bank installation, and the construction of ramps, stair connections, and pedestrian intersection upgrades. These efforts significantly enhanced connectivity, accessibility, and recreation for the surrounding communities.

Georgia Power Demorest Substation

Our Heavy Civil team successfully completed a 9-acre site development project for a Georgia Power substation. The work involved clearing the site, importing and grading approximately 60,000 cubic yards of material, and installing effective storm drainage systems. With careful attention to erosion control and grading, this project laid the groundwork for the substation’s renewal. We were proud to contribute to the success of this critical infrastructure project.

Cabin Drive Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS)

Reeves Young was selected as the Construction Manager to build this 26-acre parking lot specifically for trailer storage with 495 trailer parking spots.  Construction included rock blasting, multiple retaining walls, and installation of storm drain and fire line underground utilities.  The finished site includes security fencing along with an access control gate at the entrance.

Gainesville 85 Business Center

Reeves Young was selected as the Construction Manager to build two warehouses totaling 586,000 SF. Building A, boasting 335,000 square feet and 3,520 square feet of office space, offers a clear height of 36 feet, 63 loading docks, and a spacious truck court with 88 trailer parking stalls. Meanwhile, Building B, spanning 251,000 square feet with 2,375 square feet of office space, provides a clear height of 32 feet, 44 loading docks, and a rear truck court with 60 trailer parking stalls. Both buildings were thoughtfully designed with flexible office spaces for future tenant needs, ensuring adaptability in a rapidly evolving logistics landscape. The project aims to enhance efficiency and convenience, with ample parking spaces and shared facilities, making it a prime hub for logistical operations in the region.

Project Zebra

Reeves Young was selected as the Design Builder for this ground up 43,098 SF warehouse and 4,500 SF office space. The complex project consisted of a conditioned warehouse space to maintain a temperature of 68 degrees, accounting for all the additional insulation on the ceiling, tilt walls, and dock doors. The scope included placement and installation of 4 additional 25-ton RTUs in the warehouse space. The warehouse space also included 8 dock locations with full dock packages (hydraulic dock levelers, dock seals, dock locks, and dock lights). The warehouse was fully racked out from floor to ceiling. The interior office space consisted of multiple personal functioning bathrooms, a trucker’s lounge (with restroom), offices, and a breakroom.

Makita Test Lab

Reeves Young was selected as the Construction Manager for this 7,500 SFUL Test Lab tenant build-out for Makita North America in their existing facility. The scope included a renovation to transform one corner of their facility into a multifunction UL test lab that includes test labs, general office rooms, storage rooms, and a conference room. The renovation included the demolition of the existing warehouse’s electrical, HVAC, and equipment, followed by the new construction. The new test lab scope included all new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, soundproof metal stud framed walls, sealed concrete floors, new concrete isolation slab for vibration testing, carpet flooring, and exterior concrete mechanical pads. The laboratory will conduct product safety testing to UL/CSA and ANSI standards for electric portable and stationary power tools and outdoor power equipment.
