Mercedes-Benz Stadium Roadway

Reeves Young was awarded multiple work scopes for this highly technical project for the Holder, Hunt, Russell, Moody joint venture in charge of building Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The project included grading the 40-acre site, which required removing 200,000 CY of soil, equaling 100 dump trucks a day. It also required creating internal access roads; placement of 294,000 SF of soil cement for multiple crane pads; demolition of the existing roadway bridge and retaining wall; installation of water, sewer and utility lines; and installation of sitework, utilities, and traffic signals to support the new entrance road. Reeves Young also performed as Prime Contractor for the installation of a 268,000 CF underground cast-in-place stormwater detention vault.
