Reeves Young provided heavy civil services in support of the construction of State Farm’s new headquarters. The project included 165,000 CY of dirt hauled off and 170,000 CY of rock blasting with haul off and utility installation for a 40’ deep, 100,000 SF footprint for a four-story underground parking deck. Services provided also involved earthwork, shoring, dewatering, utilities, concrete precast culverts, MSE walls, asphalt paving, and signalization. Installation of two of GA’s largest pre-cast culverts to build a new roadway. Utility work included 400 LF of 24” sewer line, jack and bore sewer line under a six-lane parkway, storm drainage, and water lines.

Spring Street Sewer Relocation

For this complex project, Reeves Young rerouted an existing city of Atlanta combined sewer line that ran through the center of two vacant parcels of land which had previously made the land undevelopable. The existing line was a 100-year-old cobblestone pipe that had been mortared together. Work included demolition, grading, erosion control, storm drain, waterline, borings, curb and fencing, and landscaping.
