City of Greer Fire Station No. 42

Reeves Young is providing Construction Manager at Risk services for two stand-alone facilities designed to enhance public safety operations. The first project is a new 30,000 SF Fire Station, featuring living spaces, bunkrooms, offices, training areas, a full kitchen, showers, apparatus bay space, and a Police Drop-in Station. This facility is designed to support critical emergency services and training needs, providing modern, functional spaces for first responders.

University of Kentucky Funkhouser Building

Reeves Young is providing construction management at risk services for this project, which includes the demolition of existing building additions, the renovation of approximately 65,000 SF of the original building, and a 65,000 SF addition. The project will feature 29,000 SF of student and maker space, including capstone project areas, maker spaces and shops, a machine shop, student organization spaces, and meeting and presentation rooms. Additionally, it will include 32,000 SF of biomedical cross-disciplinary space, encompassing biomedical engineering research labs and offices, as well as research labs and faculty offices for computer science, chemical and materials engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and electrical and computer engineering.

Western Kentucky University

Reeves Young is executing multiple projects on the Western Kentucky University campus, enhancing its facilities and infrastructure. These include constructing a 120,000 SF facility to support the Big Red Marching Band, Hilltopper Athletics, and WKU E-Sports programs. The facility features dedicated spaces for the band, a Baseball Clubhouse with locker rooms, weight rooms, and offices, a hitting facility, and an 87,000 SF indoor training space. Additionally, Reeves Young is renovating the 15,300 SF Hilltopper Stadium Press Box, upgrading it to meet ADA standards with a new elevator and modernized spaces for media, including broadcast, radio, and coaches’ booths. The company is also managing structural repairs to Hilltopper Hall, including improvements to the steel frame, stair towers, masonry envelope, and interior finishes, requiring precise reconstruction to maintain functionality. These projects reflect Reeves Young’s dedication to improving WKU’s campus.

City of Greer Berry Avenue Office Renovations

Reeves Young was selected to provide construction services for the renovation of a 12,000 SF warehouse and office suite for the City of Greer. The project included upgrades to accommodate offices, open office spaces, meeting rooms, a break room, and materials and data storage for various departments, including I.T./GIS, Building Maintenance and Facilities, Engineering, and Inspections. Interior upgrades featured structural revisions, new plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as new interior finishes and systems. Site improvements included reconfigured parking and building access points, creating an enhanced outdoor environment for employees.

Clemson University College of Veterinary Medicine

Our Heavy Civil team played a pivotal role in the development of South Carolina’s first College of Veterinary Medicine, located on a 60-acre site in Pendleton, SC. Completed in preparation for its inaugural classes in Fall 2026, this state-of-the-art campus for Clemson University features six cutting-edge buildings designed to advance veterinary medicine. Our team provided essential heavy civil services, including site preparation, grading, stormwater management, and infrastructure development, ensuring a strong foundation for this transformative project.

Duncan 85 Business Center

This Design-Build project consists of a new 273,000 SF industrial spec facility that will meet LEED requirements on a 23-acre site. As an early partner in the design process, Reeves Young was able to help navigate the rerouting of existing runoff from the adjacent interstate storm system, as well as reroute utilities to avoid wetland impacts and rock exposure.

Hilton Curio Charlotte

Reeves Young served as the Program Manager for the Hilton Curio in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. Creating a new live/work/play environment for Charlotte, this 11-story hotel shares the city block of 7th and Tryon along with a library, innovation center, new residential towers, and theaters. This new 178,000 SF hotel will provide 220 guest rooms and a new restaurant. As Program Manager, Reeves Young is managing the design process, general contractor selection, and is working with the master developer to break ground in 2023.

Greenville Transit Authority Bus Maintenance Facility

Located on 26 acres in Greenville, SC, this 6,00 SF maintenance operations and administration facility serves Greenville Transit Authority’s Greenlink Bus System. The 40,000 SF bus maintenance area features a fleet service area with two fueling and fluid management lanes, fare collection, eight service bays, and a fully automated bus wash. The facility also houses parts, tires, and tool storage, along with locker rooms, showers, training space, and laundry services. A second 18,000 SF administration building accommodates employee offices, Transit Authority Board and Community Room, driver-ready lounge, dispatch, and conference space. The site also includes infrastructure for diesel, electric, and future compressed natural gas buses. There is also parking for approximately 200 employees and 88 bus parking spaces to accommodate future fleet growth. Site improvements were also included in order to create a green space/park environment with a walking trail and community pavilion.

Purrysburg WTP Expansion

Reeves Young was selected as the General Contractor for this multi-faceted water treatment plant upgrade and expansion project. The scope of work included installation of new pumps at the river, reservoir, transfer, and high-pressure pump stations. It also included chemical feed facility enhancements, including the incorporation of new tanks, pumps, and modern sodium hypochlorite onsite generation equipment as well as the construction of a weir flow splitting facility, a PAC contactor, and static rapid mix equipment. The team was also responsible for installation of a new flocculation and sedimentation basin, five new dual media filters, and various valves and piping. Key enhancements were also made to the instrumentation and controls, and electrical systems and controls. This undertaking aims to double the existing treatment plant’s capacity from 15 million gallons per day (MGD) to 30 MGD

Greenville County Square

This 40-acre site is being redeveloped into an urban environment to complement downtown with commercial, residential, public/institutional, and service/industrial uses. It also features two central plazas and three dog parks and includes multi-use trail connectivity on the east, north, and west boundaries to integrate the development with the surrounding areas better and provide convenient access for residents in nearby neighborhoods.
