Seminole Landfill
Reeves Young completed two projects for the landfill which receives all residential trash for Dekalb County, Georgia. The first project included 4,200 LF of access road grading and paving 84” and 96” diameter storm drain installation, customer drop-off area improvements, a 7-acre stormwater detention pond, office trailer, picnic shelter, vehicle tire wash, storage shed site entranceway, and landscaping. The second project involved moving 1.6 million cubic yards of soil to fill and level the 27-acre area, and the development of two new landfill cells to receive the trash. Both required a landfill liner system and sand layer.
