Eric Young, President/CEO, was the Project Manager for this project prior to joining Reeves Young.  Reeves upgraded the existing combined sewer main in the street to 36” storm and sewer designated piping. The project was driven by the need to provide increased sewer capacity needed by the building and to assist the City of Atlanta in complying with an EPA consent decree to eliminate water quality damage caused by combined sewer overflows. In all, 2000 linear feet of 3’ diameter pipe was installed in the middle of one of downtown Atlanta’s busiest streets. Excavation depths ranged from 22’ to 34’.
