Suwanee breaks ground on Town Center on Main and Delay nature park

Suwanee officials have broken ground on a major expansion of the city’s park system, including the 25-acre Town Center Park. Reeves Young of Sugar Hill aims to create a cohesive neighborhood with the Suwanee library, PlayTown Suwanee, and Fire Station 13. Once completed, the parks will connect with existing park spaces, including Station Park and the pedestrian tunnel under the railroad tracks. Town Center on Main will feature an elevated bridge, open terrace plaza, sandpit volleyball courts, and public art. Main Street will be realigned to accommodate the new park. The project is expected to ease the demand on the existing park and benefit the surrounding community.
